Ronny Mcdonald was born May 30, 1959 to King Alfonso McDonald and Lena Mae (Naylor) McDonald. He departed life at the age of 61 on May 27, 2021.
Known to many as Runt he accepted Christ in his life at an early age at Mount Olive Missionary Baptist Church of Lauderdale. He grew up in Kemper County and graduated from
East Kemper High School. Ronny received his automatic certification from Scooba and his CNA license while employed with East Mississippi State Hospital. Ronny enjoyed spending time with family/friends, fishing, playing pool and his guitars. Ronny was always the life of the party, lighting up any room he walked into with his personality and sense of humor. Ronny believed in putting his children first and living life to the fullest.
Ronny lives to cherish his memories his five children; 1 son Ronny (Nina) Carlisle, 4 daughters, Terinarda Mcdonald (Shawn) Naylor, Ladonna Harris Peeples, Scelcia Carlisle, and Constance Mcdonald; his partner Dylane Harris, his siblings King (Mary) McDonald, Johnny Lee Mcdonald, Sandra (Moses) Gibbs, Dorothy Page, Larry Jackson, Rickey (Rita) Jackson, Rosie (Milton) Jimison, Milton (Scelia) McDonald, Melton (Michelle) McDonald, Lovell McDonald, Victor McDonald, Lizzie (Roy) Hinton, and Angela Ware.
16 grandchildren, stepsons, stepdaughters, an aunt, many nieces, nephews, relatives, and friends.
He is preceded in death by his father King Alfonso McDonald, his mother Lena Mae (Naylor) Mcdonald, sister Shirley Ann (Glenda) Gibson, brother Arlester McDonald, and grandson LaDerrick Bell.
